Sunday the 6th of December Xmas day, conditions cooler than forecasted but nobody was complaining about that, winds were up but smooth and those who brought something all flew. Lunch supplied, we all fed our faces and enjoyed a relaxing socializing day.........
A happy little boy, as these two unwanted air craft were gifted to him over the past week, the BAE Hawk might be a way off though as even myself had trouble getting this one stable in the air, a trimming nightmare. be easier next time..........
Below is Mikes Ultimate bipe..........
Martin T has a new trainer and yes that is a OS 46 glow engine up front. Martin is enjoying the new experience and learning of gas powered aircraft, especially being able to fly in more windier conditions..........
Below are David and Alex's aircraft of choice for the day.......

HAMILTON FUN FLY 28/29 NOV 2015
A trip to Hamilton for there annual fun fly and swap meet for David, Alex and Fred Chigwidden, weather was great , low 20's and light winds made for some good flying. Great to catch up with friends that we haven't seen since last year. The event was well supported with lots of planes and pilots, something the Hamilton club was most appreciative of as other events had reported poor attendances. For myself it is the pick of the bunch as it is a great weekend, most inviting and friendly atmosphere, pre xmas get together.
Above Trogans of all sizes and left/ below a very nice Gilmore racer, Evolution 9 cylinder radial up front, flew and sounded nice ..
That scale prop hub is adjustable and you can vary the pitch on blades, cost $900, cockpit was reported as being the same. As you might guess model wasn't cheap either,$6000 plus $3500 for retracts, wheels and air kit, this one all up ready to fly will set you back $20000 +
Nice sized and looking Tigermoth and large jet displayed on Sunday, but didn't fly...
Swamps Sundays Sept/Oct/Nov
Since our A.GM mid Sept the weather has been perfect, with all but one Sunday afternoon being a bit windy, suitable for flying. Reports say that not just Sundays got a work out as well, with Saturdays and week days getting there share as well. Following are some of the aircraft that have taken to the sky in the past months
Some of the regular aircraft flown by David and Alex C, below, Alex now trying his hands at some aleron flying and progressing well with the Sky Raider trainer
Fred C has been given both the Gladiator, right and the glow powered Rainbow, above, regular Sunday fly
Bob H all packed away for the trip home
Above and below are regulars of Mike S
John turned up with this very nice Tiger moth on 22 Nov, looked good and flew well.
